1. Take one of the squares of paper and fold over one corner to create a triangle.

2. Rotate your triangle so the long edge is at the bottom and the right angle faces up. Make sure the top of the triangle is looking up and you have the long edge running perpendicular.

3. Fold the lower right corner up to meet the top right angled corner. Repeat for the left side.

4. Fold these two back open, creating the triangle shape.

5. Flip down ONE of the top sheets, bringing the top point to the bottom of the triangle, and crease.

6. Next, fold the flaps you created back up and tuck into your bookmark. Repeat for the other side.

**Repeat steps using the second square of paper to create a second bookmark.**

R2-D2

You will need to glue the cutouts over top of the folded pieces of the bookmark, leaving a little pocket underneath to fit on the edge of a page. Make sure you start with your bookmark facing as shown below.

*If you want to create a personalized R2, simply cut out all of the pieces and arrange to your liking to create your own R2-D2. If you want the design pictured, then follow the instructions below.

1. Cut out all pieces EXCEPT those within boxes marked A and B. Arrange the cut out pieces as shown in the photo, gluing as you go.

2. The pieces in box A are used on the left-hand side, as shown. The pieces in box B are used on the right-hand side, as shown. NOTE: Pieces are numbered in photo as a guide, DO NOT write numbers on the front of pieces. If needed, write numbers on the back of pieces.

3. If you want to give your R2 a little mischievous gleam in his eye, simply cut out a small, rounded arc from the leftover white paper and glue to the top left or right side of the black circle.

BB-8

Cut out all pieces and arrange as seen in the photo. You will need to trim the ends of the orange strips to fit the curve of the oval.
